Notes

  • System Compatibility: Installation of this Haltech product will prevent the factory TRC and ETCS systems from operating, and warning lights will illuminate on the dash cluster to indicate these systems are disabled. Removal of the TRC and ETCS warning bulbs from the dash cluster is recommended.

ECU Overview

The Elite 2500 ECU is a two-connector, stand-alone unit ideal for late-model performance and racing applications. It supports various engine configurations and provides advanced features for optimal tuning and performance.

  • Supports: 1 to 12 Cylinder engines, 2 to 4 Rotor engines, normally aspirated or forced induction.
  • Load Sensing: Throttle Position (TPS), Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP), or Mass Air Flow (MAF).
  • Connections: Compatible with a wide range of display dashes and expansion devices via CAN.
  • Inputs/Outputs: 8 Fuel Injection Outputs, 8 Ignition Outputs, 12 Digital Outputs, 10 Analogue Voltage Inputs, 4 Synchronised Pulsed Inputs, 4 Dedicated inputs (Dual Knock, Ignition Switch & Onboard MAP Sensor), 2 Dedicated Engine Position Inputs with extensive trigger type support, up to 45 channels of I/O expansion via CAN, and USB Laptop communication.

  • Closed Loop Idle Speed Control: Learning for consistent idle stability, requires 1 or 2 user-defined outputs (BAC type) or 4 user-defined outputs (Stepper motor type).
  • Long Term Learning (Auto Tune): On fuel, ignition, cam, boost, and idle control maps (up to 4D).
  • On-board Data Logging: Up to 40 channels of logging at sample rates up to 5ms (200Hz) with 2MB of internal memory.
  • Laptop Data Logging: Data log all available channels directly to your laptop's hard drive for both tuning and diagnostics.
  • Dual CAN Bus Communication: For Haltech dashes and expansion devices, supported OEM CAN & OBDII.
