The Setrab 625 Fan Assisted Oil Cooler combines a compact 25-row Setrab 6-Series oil cooler with an integrated electric fan, making it ideal for performance vehicles where reliable oil cooling is required but natural airflow is limited.
Unlike a conventional front-mounted oil cooler that relies heavily on vehicle speed and direct airflow, the integrated puller fan actively draws air through the cooler core. This makes the FP625M22 particularly useful in tightly packaged street cars, race cars, track cars and fabricated installations where positioning the cooler directly in the vehicle's airflow is difficult.
Its compact footprint makes it suitable for cooling a range of vehicle oil circuits, including engine oil, automatic or sequential transmission oil, differential oil and power steering systems. It is also well suited to builds where an oil cooler needs to be mounted remotely rather than directly behind a grille or duct.
The cooler uses M22 Setrab ProLine ports, allowing the plumbing to be configured around the required hose size using the appropriate M22 adapter fittings.
For a complete oil cooling system, this fan pack can be incorporated with suitable oil cooler hose, fittings, thermostatic controls and oil system adapters depending on the vehicle and application.

FITMENT NOTES
This is a universal performance oil cooler assembly and is not vehicle-specific. Mounting brackets, oil lines, adapters and vehicle-side plumbing must be selected to suit the individual installation.
The cooler uses low-profile M22 Setrab ProLine ports. These require the correct captured O-ring style adapter fittings to seal properly. Thread sealant should not be used on the ProLine port threads.
The integrated fan is designed to operate as a puller fan. Reversing the fan direction can reduce cooling performance because the fan blades are optimised for pulling air through the cooler.
The cooler should be mounted where the fan can draw sufficient air through the core and where heated air can escape from behind the fan assembly. Restricting the outlet side of the cooler can significantly reduce cooling effectiveness.
Setrab recommends isolating the cooler from vehicle vibration using suitable rubber dampening at the mounting points.
The fan requires a suitable 12V electrical supply. Setrab specifies a minimum of 18 AWG automotive wire for the power and ground circuits. A suitable fuse, relay, manual switch or temperature-controlled switch should be incorporated according to the electrical installation.
Confirm available mounting space, required hose size, adapter fittings and oil system configuration before ordering.
